Captivating novel that fantasy fans will love

Of Kith and Kin is the fourth book in Laura Lee Dooley's Chronicles of the Threlphax series. For decades, Tae-soo thought her twin brother Tae-hee was dead, until she met a man named Kit who claimed to be Tae-hee. After initially struggling to prove his claim, Kit tells his story and eventually convinces Tae-soo. Soon, Tae-soo introduces Kit to the members of the KSH House, who deal with antiques and estate sales. In India, Sameer Khan meets Dr. Seung-do Lee. He is someone whose past is intricately linked with the twins. After Kit falls in love with Tae-soo's friend, Jong-hyun Park, the shocking death of one of the KSH members brings an unexpected threat to the twins, their friends, and the Threlphax. Will Kit and his friends survive the upcoming events?

Steeped in mystery, romance, and intrigue, Of Kith and Kin is a captivating novel that fantasy fans will love. The lore of this world is fascinating. Author Laura Lee Dooley masterfully incorporates unexpected twists and turns into the plot, keeping you on the edge of your seat at all times. One of my favorite aspects of the book is how Dooley pushes the plot forward through conversations between the different characters. It helps you get attached to the characters and learn more about their personalities. I also loved the sibling back-and-forth between Kit and Tae-soo. Kit's relationship with Jong is bound to entertain romance readers. Overall, it's a fantastic book for anyone who loves rich worldbuilding and lore. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I think you will too!
