Author Laura Lee Dooley masterfully incorporates unexpected twists and turns into the plot, keeping you on the edge of your seat at all times. One of my favorite aspects of the book is how Dooley pushes the plot forward through conversations between the different characters. It helps you get attached to the characters and learn more about their personalities. I also loved the sibling back-and-forth between Kit and Tae-soo. Kit's relationship with Jong is bound to entertain romance readers. Overall, it's a fantastic book for anyone who loves rich worldbuilding and lore. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I think you will too!
